April News
Happy Spring! We are officially in the home stretch of the 44th dance year and we are all so excited about all of the upcoming events – summer & fall enrollment, costumes, pictures, recital, dance, dance and more dance!
RECITAL FEE is DUE. Recital fee was NOT taken out with tuition – you must login to account to initiate payment.
BOTH RECITAL FEE AND TUITION MUST BE PAID BEFORE COSTUME WILL BE RELEASED TO DANCER beginning the week of April 13th.
Recurring billing will be taken out on the 5th of April.
****2026-2027 SUMMER AND FALL ENROLLMENT will begin online on Monday April 6th.

****PICTURES!! S-M-I-L-E picture week will take place Monday April 27th – Saturday May 2nd. “The Sarah Image Photography” will be taking individual and group pictures – these pictures will be taken during your child’s dance class. *** AND *** each class will DANCE for parents AFTER individual and group pictures are taken- a schedule with exact time of pictures and dance times will be emailed the week before pictures. Picture information/ordering information will be handed out with costumes.
RECITAL 2026!!! Miss Shelly’s School of Dance “To the Moon and Back” 44th Recital is scheduled for Saturday May 16th and Sunday May 17th, 2026 at the beautiful University of Tulsa Lorton Theater. We will have several recitals over the weekend and your dancer will dance in ONE recital (please note – ballet opening number / teen and adult classes will be showcased a few times throughout the weekend).

Details of the walk thru instructions AND the Recital instructions will be emailed to each individual class APRIL 10th!
Your dancers class will have a short walk-thru the morning of the Recital. The walk-thru is a time that one parent brings the dancer to meet the stage mom for the class, go backstage and then walk on stage to find their dance place and become familiar with the Theater. After the quick walk-thru the dancers are released to leave.
An afternoon/early evening Recital will follow and that is going to be amazing – the perfect time for our dancers to shine and show off their hard work. We are so excited to celebrate a fantastic year!
***STAGE MOMS – we are still in need of a few stage moms – Stage moms pay $50 for their recital fee.. If you sign up to be a stage mom, you will need to send Miss Raegan an email and she will adjust your recital fee OR if you pay the recital fee – a $26 credit will be applied to tuition.
