APRIL NEWS – Happy Spring! We are officially in the home stretch of the 42nd dance year and we are all so excited about all of the upcoming events – summer & fall enrollment, costumes, pictures, recital, dance, dance and more dance!
Please read the entire email to be UP TO DATE on all the UPCOMING DATES!
RECITAL FEE is DUE. Recital fee was NOT taken out with tuition – you must login to account to initiate payment.
BOTH RECITAL FEE AND TUITION MUST BE PAID BEFORE COSTUME WILL BE RELEASED TO DANCER.
Recurring billing will be taken out on the 5th of April.
****2024-2025 ENROLLMENT will begin online on Monday April 8th. FREE * FREE * FREE * enrollment from Monday April 8th – Sunday April 14th! A $30 value for FREE! Visit our web-site www.missshellysschoolofdance.com and from the dropdown menu choose “studio”, then “enrollment.”
****Costumes are arriving daily! IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER – TUITION and RECITAL FEE must be PAID IN FULL before costumes will be released to dancers. Costumes will not be allowed to leave the studio with dancer if payment is due on account. Thank you for your understanding and for meeting your financial obligation!
****PICTURES!! S-M-I-L-E picture week will take place Monday April 29th – Saturday May 4th. “The Sarah Image Photography” will be taking individual and group pictures – these pictures will be taken during your child’s dance class. *** AND *** each class will DANCE for parents AFTER individual and group pictures are taken- a schedule with exact time of pictures and dance times will be emailed the week before pictures. Picture information/ordering information will be handed out with costumes.
RECITAL 2024!!! Miss Shelly’s School of Dance 42nd Recital is scheduled for Saturday May 18th and Sunday May 19th, 2024 at the beautiful University of Tulsa Lorton Theater. We will have several recitals over the weekend and your dancer will dance in ONE recital (please note – ballet opening number / teen and adult classes will be showcased a few times throughout the weekend).
RECITAL ORDER is posted several places at the dance studio and will be emailed with specific instructions in mid April.
Your dancers class will have a short walk-thru the morning of the Recital. The walk-thru is a time that one parent brings the dancer to meet the stage mom for the class, go backstage and then walk on stage to find their dance place and become familiar with the Theater. After the quick walk-thru the dancers are released to leave.
An afternoon Recital will follow and that is going to be amazing – the perfect time for our dancers to shine and show off their hard work. We are so excited to celebrate a fantastic year!
Details of the walk thru instructions AND the Recital instructions will be emailed to each individual class by mid April.
***STAGE MOMS – we are still in need of a few stage moms – Stage moms pay $50 for their recital fee.. If you sign up to be a stage mom, you will send Miss Raegan an email and she will adjust your recital fee OR if you pay the recital fee – a $25 credit will be applied to tuition. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU (in advance) for signing up to be a stage mom and helping make the recital day EXTRA special.

SUMMER ENROLLMENT INFORMATION: To enroll , please return this slip to the tuition box or give to a teacher at the studio with a check made payable to RAEGAN OLIVER or attach envelope with cash payment.
