We are so happy to start the 45th year of  “keeping Tulsa on its toes” when dance classes begin on WEDNESDAY SEPT. 9th!!

**IF YOU ARE ENROLLED IN AUTOMATIC TUITION PAYMENT, TUITION WILL BE TAKEN OUT SEPTEMBER 5th** **TUITION IS DUE THE FIRST DANCING DAY OF THE MONTH. **

Please remember that the first couple of weeks back to dance, or any activity, are filled with lots of emotions and commotion.  The dance studio hallway will be filled with a lot of happy dancers and parents. Kindness and patience is a top priority as the dance doors open on Wednesday Sept. 9th.  Please park in a designated parking lot spot and walk dancer inside if they are young.  If dancer is older, please feel free to drop at front door and allow them to walk inside.

Please follow the flow of traffic – entering from the east and driving west.  DO NOT park in the red fire lane or leave the car unattended! Sunny Nail has designated parking spots reserved for clients. Please do not park in those places, even if for a couple of minutes. Thank you!

You are more than welcome to stay and mingle or use the time to run an errand.  You will need to come back inside for pickup at the end of the dance class OR if you are picking up dancer in the car line, the dancers are not allowed to leave the building until your car is out front of the studio. Please DO NOT block others from driving through the car line, the flow of traffic needs to be constant. Thank you! 🙂 

The lobby will be busy and crowded and excitement will be in the air.  If you need any help finding your dancers class or have a question please find a teacher and we are ready to help!

WELCOME! En Pointe Party & Dance Boutique has opened directly next door to Miss Shelly’s.  The beautiful boutique carries children, youth and adult dancewear, dance shoes and accessories to get you and/or your dancer ready for the season! Store hours : Monday – Thursday 9:30a.m. – 1:00p.m. AND 3:30p.m – 7:00p.m. / / Friday 9:30a.m. – 1:00p.m. / /  Saturday 10:00a.m. – 2:00p.m. 

WHAT TO WEAR AND DANCE SHOE REQUIREMENTS: Students may wear any color leotard and tights. Tutus and dance skirts are allowed as well. Jazz pants/yoga pants and tank tops or form fitting shirts can be worn for jazz / hip hop / tap and adult classes. No baggy clothing, no bare legs and no shorts please (tights need to be worn under shorts or skirts).  Please label all shoes and send in a labeled dance bag.

SHOES:

Ballet – Pink Ballet shoes   

Tap – 3 1⁄2 years to 3rd grade: black flat heeled tap shoes

Jazz- Black jazz shoes grades K – 8th and Tan jazz shoes grades 9-12   Lyrical– Tan Jazz Shoes

Tap – 4th grade to adult tap – lace up flat heeled shoes or black 1.5 inch heel shoes

 Make sure you are registered for an easy tuition pay option!!!! You can set up your account for monthly recurring billing with your credit card…just login to your account and this will be one of your choices for making payment. Please note that the recurring billing only applies to tuition and does not apply to other fees (costume fee, recital fee)…you will need to login to initiate payment. Tuition can also be paid by cash or check at the studio. Please make checks payable to Miss Shelly’s and make sure you add your dancer’s name and drop in the tuition box.

Statements will be emailed around the 18th of each month. After the 20th, a $20 late charge will be added to the account. EPIC students need to send us an email with the dancer’s name & EPIC identification number.

Miss Raegan will be checking email daily. Please check our website, Facebook & Instagram for up to date information.

Need to ADD/DROP or CHANGE a class! No problem – please send Miss Raegan an email. It is important to remember in order to withdraw from a class, a written notice must be given. You will need to email the dance studio on or before the 20th of the previous month or you will continue to be responsible for tuition payment for the next month. A student not showing up for classes or not paying the registration fee does not constitute a withdrawal. Example: if you want to withdraw from a class and send a written notice on October 28th, you will still be responsible for November tuition for that class – the email must be received by the 20th.
